Natalie Berra is a godsend! My son needed physical therapy from a very early age and we saw Natalie for several months. She was always very professional, welcoming and clearly knows her stuff & takes pride in doing a good job. We are very happy with my son’s progress, and the sessions did not feel like a chore every week because Natalie is so easy to talk to. The whole practice seems well run and it makes such a difference when front desk people are actually pleasant too (Ms Cory was wonderful).

We have been working with Natalie K. now for about 7 months. She is the absolute best PT I could have asked for!!! I was so worried when my son wasn’t crawling yet at 10 months old and she had him moving in no time! Same thing with his walking. He also absolutely adores her. She is so good with babies and toddlers! I look forward to going to our weekly session because I know how productive it will be every time and I walk out of our sessions in such a good mood. I can’t recommend a center or therapist more!!

My son has been seeing Natalie Kahn for about a year, we just absolutely love her. She is patient, kind, smart and dedicated to her skill and these kids. I can not recommend her enough to whomever will listen! My son adores her and has made amazing progress with his issues…so much so that we have recently gotten the clear to no longer need PT. Although we will miss seeing her every week, it’s because of her hard work and care that my son is thriving, and that I am so grateful for. It takes a village and I am so glad we have/had the pleasure of having Natalie in ours.

Our daughter loves going to Speech and OT here. Love the staff, specifically Alyse for OT and Sarah for speech therapy. They're so patient with our kiddo all the while keeping her on task and we love the growth we've seen already after just a few months. Veronica also has helped us navigate insurance and has been really helpful.

CPTWC has been an absolute haven for both my boys. The front office is always so welcoming & helpful with my 100 questions, especially Ms. Cory!

Our 4mo old baby required Physical Therapy due to Torticollis, and Ms. Amanda has been such a joy to work with. My son fell in love from day one, and she was able to help him achieve his goals, throughout his Doc Band journey.

Our 2.5yr old toddler was referred here by his pediatrician for Occupational Therapy, and Ms. Kirsten has been the most positive influence! He absolutely adores her, and has made such incredible progress. He has since started seeing Ms. Erin for Speech Therapy, which has also been such a positive and fun experience for him! Now we begin his ABA journey with Ms. Natalia and we already know he is in SUCH good hands with his whole caring team.

We are SO grateful to have found this wellness center, and would be lost without everyone there. Highly recommend for all the children in your life!

What Is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy?

What Is Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy?

Our comprehensive autism care therapy uses positive reinforcement, DTT, and PRT to help your child with autism enjoy their childhood. Over 60 years of research prove the effectiveness of ABA therapy, and we see it firsthand in the children we serve. We support your child through child gains support through:

Discrete Trial Training (DTT): Step-by-step teaching with clear rewards

Pivotal Response Training (PRT): Natural, play-based activities that spark communication

Natural Environment Teaching (NET): Learning woven into playful moments to build practical skills.

Visual Supports: Picture cues and simple charts that make learning routines easier and reduce daily stress.

Functional Communication Training (FCT): Therapists model a skill first so your child can watch, practice, and master it.

ABA therapy at At Chicago Pediatric Therapy & Wellness Center gives children space to grow through playful moments, compassionate guidance, and clear teaching at their own pace. A balance of these approaches helps your child feel understood and supported as new skills take shape.

FAQs About Logan Square ABA Therapy

Children with ASD experience the world differently and need some extra tools to enjoy it. Autism care therapy provides them with the tools to build independence. It uses decades of science-backed methods to help children with autism learn vital skills like talking, playing, and taking care of themselves.

We work with kids of all ages, from babies in our Early Intervention program (0–3 years) to school-aged children. Starting early is great for seeing quick development, but we support growth at all stages of childhood.

You don’t need an autism diagnosis to start asking questions.

ABA helps if your child is:

  • Struggling to communicate
  • Having a hard time with friends
  • Feeling overwhelmed often by sensory input
  • Finding daily routines (like sleeping or eating) difficult.

You know your child, and if your gut tells you something is off, book a consultation. Our team is happy to conduct an assessment and help you determine the next steps.

Usually, yes. The cost of ABA therapy differs according to your plan, but if your child has a diagnosis, most Illinois plans (including BCBS, United, and Aetna) provide coverage. Our team will contact your insurance company on your behalf and handle the details and paperwork.

It depends entirely on your child’s needs and preferred pace. After we meet them, we might suggest a focused plan of 10–15 hours a week, or a more immersive schedule of 25–40 hours. We’ll design a rhythm that works for your family life, too.

Yes. Decades of research, including longitudinal studies, confirm that ABA is the gold standard for boosting communication and essential life skills.

We have immediate spots for families in the Logan Square area to start ABA therapy. We do our best to get children started quickly so they can begin making progress as soon as possible.

Yes please! Caregiver involvement is great for improving therapeutic outcomes. We’ll provide you with structured coaching and ongoing support to help you apply what we teach outside our classrooms.

We follow rigorous data collection on recorded sessions that our BCBAs analyze to track specific behavior changes and skill acquisition.

We let you know those results regularly. But you will likely see improvements before we can share in a more relaxed, connected, and generally happier child.

We use a multidisciplinary care model. Unlike standalone ABA centers, we integrate Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Social Work Services to get your child the best cohesive care.

Therapy typically starts within weeks of completing the initial consultation and insurance approval process. This allows our specialists time to customize and collaborate on the best possible combination of care for your child.

We are located at 1739 N. Elston Avenue, Chicago, IL 60642.

We help families from all over Chicago access ABA therapies, including:

  • Logan Square
  • Bucktown
  • Noble Square
  • Lincoln Park
  • Wicker Park.
  • Ukrainian
  • Roscoe Village
  • West Loop

Our services are delivered in-clinic, in-home, or in-school, depending on the treatment plan.
