Edible Finger Paint

Supplies:
Yogurt
Food Coloring
Plastic bowls
Spoons
Paper

Painting…and making…edible finger paint is a great activity for toddlers! Measuring, mixing and painting gives them the opportunity to practice early math and science skills, while experiencing the sensory input of paint on their hands. It was a hit!

Steps:
Have your child spoon out a few scoops of yogurt into a bowl

Give each child a bottle of food coloring and let them squeeze a few drops into the yogurt. Then stir! Let them experiment with the number of drops. How does the color change the more drops you add? What happens when you mix colors?

Let your little Picasso’s paint! Have your camera ready – the pictures are adorable!
